Starting off the year with a classic. This is from my Grandma. Some family members used to call me all the time for this recipe because they would always forget it. We found that at our big family reunion lots of people make this recipe. I even have children that bring extra in their lunch for their friends. For this recipe you will slice cucumbers and add to a bowl. Fill with vinegar until almost covering pickles. Add a splash of water if you want. Add a spoonful of celery salt and a couple spoonfuls of sugar. Add diced onions if you want. Wait as long as you can before you google them up. We try to wait an hour.
